We had a doll party with my sisters, sisters-in-law and their daughters. My Mom has collected a lot of dolls over the years and she was ready to give some away to her granddaughters.
Each granddaughter got to choose a doll to keep.

Each girl decorated a card with the ancestor's name to go with her doll.

The program compared a photo of the doll's face to the granddaughter's ancestors and gave some possible matches. Each granddaughter chose a female ancestor that matched.

I had also preprinted a few ancestor stories that if someone had chosen that ancestor, she could add the story to the back of the card.
